Published by Today's News Herald on Jan. 20, 2023 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Janice Susan Molenrich was born in Glendale, California to Eileen and Walter Hopkins. They raised a daughter who would become a woman of true character and have a determination to live life for the love of family and friends. After graduating from Glendale Community College, she started a 36-year career with Los Angeles County. There she rose to the title of Appeals and State Hearings Specialist. Her proudest moments were helping people who were down on their luck and needed a helping hand. She loved water skiing, house boating, raising children, and playing gin with her hubby. She is survived by her husband Gary, her son Jeffrey, daughter Kathryn, and six grandchildren: Audree, Jaxon, Isabella, Jayde, Juliette and Christian. She was the greatest wife a man could ever have. She became a devoted mother and one amazing Nana. Plagued by her second bout with cancer in 2017, four thoracic back surgeries, radiation, and chemotherapy, she never wavered. Her lust for life tells us a great lesson. Never give up! She will be missed and loved forever. There will be a celebration of life at the VFW Post 9401 on March 11, 2023 at 1 p.m. |
