Published by Mohave Daily News Online from Jan. 15 to Jan. 22, 2023 - Bullhead City, Arizona - William Henry Timmer, age 81, passed away at his home in Bullhead City, Arizona on Thursday, November 24, 2022. William was born on January 14, 1941 to Aloysius N. and Alma L. Timmer in Baker, Montana. He met and married the love of his life, Wanda L. Boots in Stanley, North Dakota on June 23, 1962. They moved to Spokane Valley, Washington so William could attend barber school. They lived in many towns in Montana, North Dakota and Washington, making Helena, Montana their home in 1991. On May 15, 1991 he lost his wife, Wanda. William worked many years in Bullhead City and retired from Sportsman's Barbershop on March 4, 2021 after 59 years as a barber. He is survived by four sons, Randy (Christina) of Watertown, South Dakota, Les (Susan) of Helena, Montana, Russ (Karla) of Spokane Valley, Washington and Dave (Jacquie Daubert) of Woodbury, Minnesota; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren; sister, Monna Edwards of Bullhead City, Arizona; sister-in-law, Joyce Rogness of Watford City, North Dakota; half-sister, Darlene Mullins of Whitefish, Montana; and numerous nephews and nieces and some very dear friends. A private family service will be held at a later date. He will be laid to rest with Wanda at Schafer Cemetary in Watford City, North Dakota. |
