Published by Today's News Herald from Mar. 1 to Mar. 2, 2023 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our loving mother Joye L. Hunnicutt. On Feb. 12, 2023, Jesus called her home to be with her loving husband and family. Joye was a very loving and compassionate person. She was always involved with family activities and her grandchildren. Joye, always made time to listen and help people in times of need. Her smile and loving nature made people want to be around her. She was born in Hoquiam, Washington on Dec. 27, 1932 where she met her future husband James C. Hunnicutt in high school, he joined the Navy and they were married in Honolulu, Hawaii on Feb. 10, 1951. She was preceded in death by her husband James Hunnicutt and her daughter Linda Hunnicutt. She is survived by her three sons: Bruce, Mark and Brian Hunnicutt and her five loving grandchildren. Funeral services will be at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California on March 3 at 10:30 a.m. There will also be a celebration of life at Lake View Community Church in Lake Havasu Arizona on March 11 at 1 p.m. |
