www.dignitymemorial.com Elsie Almira Incardona September 17, 1921 - July 16, 2022 In The Care Of Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services--Golden Door She is survived by her daughters Christine and her husband Leon Smith, Carla and her husband Dennis Ford, Kerry Baffa and her children Amy and Ian, and her grandchildren: Alana Romanova and her son Orion, Annetta and her son Lincoln Kelley, and Anthony Incardona. Her husband (whom she met in the Coast Guard) and Son preceded her in death: Carlo Incardona WWII veteran and Pete The Miner Incardona. She was born in Ada Minnesota in 1921. She joined the Coast Guard in 1943 and served till 1946. She received an Honorable Discharge SK2c. She received the American Campaign Medal and the World War II Victory Medal and is listed in The World War II Women in Military Service for America Memorial. In 2013 she went on the Honor Flight with other WWII Veterans and enjoyed sharing stories of the war and seeing all the monuments in Washington DC. Her service will be at the Veterans National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona on Wednesday, August 3rd 2022 at 1030. [transcriber's note: SK2c is Storekeeper 2nd Class] |
