Published by Today's News Herald from Mar. 11 to Mar. 12, 2023 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Shirley lived in Lake Havasu City since 1999. She was born and raised in Lumberton, New Jersey to John and Evelyn Morales. She married John J. Perry Sr. during World War II. They were married 48 years and had eight beautiful children. She was preceded in death by John J. Perry Sr.; John J. Perry Jr., Son; David E. Perry, Son; Rodger C. Perry, Grandson and Robert G. Hellyer. She has six living children: Lorraine, Barbara (Bob), June (Ken), Ronald (Lisa), Roger and Karen; 20 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She loved to travel, go boating and fishing. Did dry washing for gold, gem hunting and faceting gems. She went on three wonderful cruises to Alaska, Mexican Riviera, a 12-day cruise in Europe; Rome, Italy, France and Spain. She lived in Yuma for 16 years. She is a past president of Ladies Auxiliary VFW 2692, Mt Holly, New Jersey, member since 1963. She is a member to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Daughters of America. She loved to be with family and grandchildren and had many cookouts and family dinners. She will be dearly missed by all her loved ones. A rosary and Mass will be held on March 21, 2023, starting at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
