COOLIDGE - George A. "Pap" Haley, 87, of Coolidge died Oct. 12, 2006 at Southern Arizona VA Health Care in Tucson. A private service was planned. Mr. Haley was born Jan. 30, 1919 in Findley, Ohio, and was a son of Dey P. and Jessie Haley. He served in the Army during World War II, with the 148th Infantry Division in the Philippines. He was a carpenter and built a number of homes in Casa Grande and the surrounding area. His favorite hobby was panning for gold. Survivors include a daughter, Sandy Haley of Coolidge; two sons, Michael Haley of Arizona City and David Haley of San Diego; a sister, Jane Archer of Casa Grande; a brother, Bill Haley of Casa Grande; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
