Post-Register (Idaho Falls, Idaho) Wednesday, April 27, 1949, p. 2 News of the death of Orton L. Andrus, about 52, in Arizona, was received in Idaho Falls Wednesday. The well known stockman of the Firth area was spending the winter at Phoenix where he and a brother, Milo Andrus of Idaho Falls, winter sheep. He has been engaged in the buying and selling of sheep for many years and made his home at Firth. No details of his death nor of the services were received. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Cora Andrus, who was in Arizona with him, by two sons, Verdun and Beaumont, both of Firth, by two daughters and a brother, Milo, who is in California and by three sisters. He was a member of the Idaho Falls Elks lodge. |
