Death Of A Giantess--The Cleveland (Ohio) Herald says: The agent of Miss
Kate Keathley (sic: Keithley), the Missouri giantess, was telegraphed at
this city Wednesday morning to the effect that Miss K. died on Saturday
last, at her home, about twenty-five miles from St. Louis. She had just
returned from a trip to Omaha. Many people all over the country will
remember Miss Keathley, probably the heaviest woman ever exhibited. She
weighed 812 pounds. Her education was much better than is usually
possessed by persons of her class, and she was able to converse
intelligently and agreeably with her visitors.

They do not write the obituaries and have no further information other than what is posted within the obituaries. We do not do personal research.
