Born in Silver City, New Mexico on Feb. 28, 1913.
Departed on July 26, 2005 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona.


Thelma Vivian Pritchard, 92, of Cottonwood died July 26, 2005. She was born February 28, 1913 in Silver City, New Mexico.

She was a graduate of San Diego Bible College. An ordained Assembly of God minister for 70 years, she was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Mrs. Pritchard started many Native American Churches in Arizona including Guadelupe, New River and Middle Verde.

She and her late husband owned Cactus Riding Stables of Phoenix.
Mrs. Pritchard was predeceased by her husband of fifty-five years, James T. "J.T." Pritchard and her two sons, Jim Pritchard and Larry "Cotton" Pritchard.

She leaves a daughter-in-law, Ann Pritchard of Cornville; nine grandchildren, Cindy Henning, Decorah, Ia., Larry Wayne Pritchard, Cottonwood, Brenda Zolman, Cornville, James Lowell Pritchard, Decorah, Ia., Thomas Glenn Pritchard, Prescott,Az., Edward Dean Pritchard, Mesa, Ariz., Stephen Kelley Pritchard, Prescott Valley, Bryan Russell Pritchard, Lake Montezuma, Ariz. and Amy Courtney Malloy, Cornville; twenty-four great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 28 in the Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave, Cottonwood from 5-7 p.m.

A Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 29 in the First Assembly of God Church, 750 E. Mingus Ave., Cottonwood at 9 a.m.
