Published by Today's News Herald on May 14, 2023 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Paula Lynn Lepak (nee James), born Aug. 21, 1946, died May 5, 2023, yet now lives eternally in Christ. Repentant and hopeful, she confessed her faith in Jesus and communed with the members of Our Saviour Evangelical Lutheran Church, who became her family in Lake Havasu. She had been a member (the "Kitchen Lady") of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Augusta, Georgia, before moving to live with her son Phillip, who was then the pastor of Our Saviour. Paula enjoyed reading, watching wildlife, and helping out at church. She is survived by her sons, Phillip, of Hartland, Minnesota, and Charles (Scott), of Battle Ground, Indiana; two stepsons, Alex and Daniel of San Jose, California; two stepgrandsons, Nathan (Heather) Whitcomb of Otsego, Minnesota, and their children, Aidan, Ava, and Easton; and Joshua (Jennifer) Whitcomb of Roseville, Minnesota, and their children, Miles and Eleanor. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 12, at 11 a.m., at Our Saviour Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3163 Maricopa Ave., with visitation beginning at 10:00am and a light luncheon following. Blessed be her memory. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz Fraze Funeral Home. |
