Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Friday, May 27, 1955, p. 4 Services Monday For Mrs. Clemons Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in Wickenburg Chapel for Mrs. Myrtle Clemons, 70, who died in the County Hospital at Phoenix the evening of May 19. Rev. Ray Ford of the Assembly of God Church conducted the rites with burial following in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mrs. Chapman [sic: Clemons] fell and broke a hip two weeks ago at her home one mile east on the Phoenix Highway. She was recovering from an illness when she had a heart attack. She was born in San Angelo, Texas, July 27, 1884, and came to Wickenburg from Sweet Water, Texas, in 1932. Surviving are the husband, Frank Clemons; one son, Bud; and one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Chapman, all of Wickenburg. She also leaves five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren |
