Arizona Republic (Phoenix, Arizona) Tuesday, August 18, 1970, p. 33 Services for Mrs. Annie L. Gibbs, 52, who was found dead Aug. 7, on the desert east of Carefree, will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in A. L. Moore and Sons Mortuary, 333 W. Adams. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Gibbs, 2715 E. Fairmount, had been on a family camping trip to the Pinnacle Peak area and became lost following car trouble. Born in Cedar Falls, Ark., she came to Phoenix 21 years ago from Arkansas. Survivors include her husband, Harry D.; a daughter, Mrs. Carol Y. Benson of Phoenix; two sons, Dolen W. Van Schaick of Lynwood, Wash., Sgt. Billy Van Schaick of Vacaville, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Powell, and a brother, Spud Magness, both of Phoenix; two sisters out of state and six grandchildren. The family suggests contributions to the Sunnyslope Bible Baptist church, 821 E. Dunlap. |
