Jack Hamilton Funeral Monday

Funeral services were conducted in St. Anthony's Catholic Church Monday
morning by the Rev. D. F. O'Sullivan for Jack Hamilton, prominent
Morristown resident who died in Community Hospital Friday of last week
after a long illness. Burial was in Wickenburg Cemetery.

Mr. Hamilton was the Santa Fe station agent in Morristown from 1920
until his retirement in 1953. During that time he became the personal
friend of many men and women of prominence as they depended upon him for
transportation from the Castle Hot Springs Hotel to their homes all over
the nation. In the early days some guests arrived in private railroad
cars and left them on a siding at Morristown for Mr. Hamilton to watch
for them.

Mr. Hamilton was also active in Morristown at various times as a
registrar of voters and as a member of the Democratic Precinct
Committee. He was a charter member of the Desert Caballeros and was
active in the Wickenburg Rotary Club.

He was born in Norman, Okla., 65 years ago.

Survivors include the widow; a son, Rupert of Phoenix; and three
daughters, Mrs. Jack Walsh of Los Altos, Calif., Mrs. J. H. Miller and
Miss Jacque Hamilton, both of Menlo Park, Calif.
