Born in Seminole County, Oklahoma on Feb. 1, 1921.
Departed on Dec. 18, 2004 and resided in Clarkdale, Arizona.

Wayne McAnally, of Clarkdale, a longtime Verde Valley resident passed away December 18, 2004. He was 83 years old. He was born February 1, 1921 in Seminole County, Oklahoma to Thomas T. and Jessie McAnally.

He came to Flagstaff in 1941 and returned to Flagstaff in 1946 after 3 years in the Army during World War II. He and his family moved to the Verde Valley in 1959.

He was a member of Teamsters Local 83 and a life member of the Jerome Elks Lodge #1361.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara; sons, Edward, wife Debbie, Camp Verde and Kenneth, wife Nancy, Cottonwood; daughter Beverly Getz, husband Charles, Ok.; a daughter-in-law Jessie McAnally, Redwood Valley, Calif.; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a foster daughter, Monica Raymond and dear freind Bea Andrus of Cottonwood.

A son, James, preceded him in death.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 21 in the Westcott Funeral Home from 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 22 in the funeral home at 11 a.m.

The Jerome Lodge of Elks #1361 will conduct their ritual. Interment will follow in the Valley View Cemetery where VFW Post #7400 will provide military honors.
