Major Albert Joseph Aquilina, USMC, Ret., 64, of Clarkdale, Arizona, died December 9, 2004. He was born May 16, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York.

Major Aquilina served in the United States Marine Corps with tours in Vietnam. Among decorations and citations received was the Meritorious Service Medal.

He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. His hobbies included firearms, motorcycles, woodworking, sailing, radio controlled airplanes and golf.

Surviving are two sons, Victor Aquilina, Clarkdale, Ariz. and Richard Aquilina, Carlsbad, Calif.; a sister, Melita Cervantes, El Monte, Calif.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 15 in the Westcott Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, December 16 in the Immaculate Conception Church at 1 p.m.

A military burial will be held on Friday, December 17 in the National Memorial Cemetery at 11 a.m.
