Born in Milford, Utah on Dec. 5, 1923
Departed on Aug. 27, 2004 and resided in Camp Verde, AZ.

Irene Rose Masters, 80, of Camp Verde, a mother and housewife died August 27, 2004. She was born Dec. 5, 1923 in Milford, Ut.to LeRoy D. and Rose Marie (Renner) VanWormer and grew up in Chino Valley, Ariz.

Because her husband Robert Harold (Bob), was a Navy man, Irene had the opportunity to travel the U.S. from coast to coast and also live on Guam in a Quonset hut. Once out of the Navy, they made their home in Phoenix. Irene worked at Washington High School in the attendance office. She is survived by daughter, Karen; son, Steve; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 3 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Camp Verde from 10-11 AM. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m.

Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery in Phoenix at 4 p.m.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Northern Arizona Hospice, 269 S. Candy Lane, Cottonwood, Azona, 86326.
