Baltazar Monreal Lozano, 56, of Clarkdale died May 30. He was born July 10, 1946 in Jerome.

He had a 35 year career in education. He served as school principal for several schools in the Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District including the Junior High/Middle School. Mr. Lozano was most recently Administrator of the Chester Newton Charter & Montesori School.

He leaves his wife, Lupe D. Lozano; daughter, Angela M. Lozano, Cottonwood; son, Baltazar A. Lozano, Jr., Clarkdale; his mother and step-father, Julia Lozano Estrada and Ferman Estrada, Jerome; sister, Deanna, husband Joseph Duran, of Cortez, Colo.; brothers, Anthony Lozano, Clarkdale, Edward Lozano, Jerome, Arthur Lozano, Phoenix and Toni Lozano, Safford; twenty-two nephews and nieces and thirty-one great-nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 7 in the Westcott Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Early Childhood Education Fund.

Services Saturday, June 7 at 10:30 AM in the Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave, Cottonwood. Contribution: Early Childhood Education Fund.
