Departed on Oct. 6, 2002 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona.

Constance Joan Cron, 71, of Cottonwood died October 6. She was born May 6, 1932 in Brooklyn, New York.

She was a volunteer firefighter for 16 years. She was a member of various sewing clubs, was a machine embroidery instructor and was a member of the California Association of Machine Embrodery. Mrs. Cron was also a Modjeska Canyon Teen Club Advisor.

She leaves her husband, Charles L. Cron; daughter, Charlene R. Cron, Cottonwood; sons, Charles W. Cron, Aliso Viejo, Calif., Dennis L. Cron, Apple Valley, Calif. and David Russell Cron, Camp Verde; a sister, Lillian Brunka Hendrick, Carmel, N.Y.; brothers, Jim Iversen, Riverside, Calif., Bob Iversen of Delran, N.J. and Ron Iversen, Dayton, Ohio; twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

A visitation will held on Thursday, October 10 in the Westcott Funeral Home from 4-6 p.m. A funeral service will be held Friday, October 11 at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m.

Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army-Women's Shelter, Clarkdale Mission of Life.
