| Eunice L. (Beckman) East Born in Milaca, Minnesota on June 23, 1918. Departed on May 25, 2002 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Eunice L. East, 83, of Cottonwood died May 24th. She was born June 23, 1918 in Milaca, Minnesota. Mrs. East was veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during World War II. She was a dedicated teacher for over 30 years. She leaves daughter, Karen Atkinson and son, Randall East, both of Cottonwood. She was preceded in death by one brother and six sisters. Her husband of 56 years, Herman W. East, died in March. A memorial service to celebrate the lives of both Herman and Eunice East will be held on Saturday, June 1 in the One in Christ Church (former Verde Valley Evangelical Free Church) in Cottonwood at 10 a.m. VFW 7400 will provide military honors for Mr. and Mrs. East.
