Kevin Cloe, 72, of Wickenburg passed away July 25, 2023, after a battle
with cancer.

Kevin was born June 5, 1951, to Earnest and Beatrice Cloe in Milwaukee,
Wisconsin. The family moved to Alta Loma, California, where he graduated
from high school in 1969. Kevin attended Chaffey College in Alta Loma.
He studied journalism and began his newspaper career as a sports
reporter in the area.

Kevin married Anne Thomas on July 24, 1976. The couple had two
daughters, Christine and Jennifer. Kevin moved up in his newspaper
career, always taking on more responsibility while continuing to write
sports. He and Anne followed her parents to Arizona where he worked in
Bullhead and then Kingman before taking the job of publisher at The
Wickenburg Sun in 1990.

Kevin led the staff at The Wickenburg Sun for 27 years. Because of his
love for sports, he also covered all the local sports on a weekly basis
for what turned out to be generations of Wickenburg families. After he
retired in 2017, he continued as The Wickenburg Sun's sports reporter
until the time of his death. As publisher, Kevin loved his community and
demonstrated his commitment by serving on the boards of directors for
the Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce, Del E. Webb Center for the
Performing Arts, Wickenburg Rotary Club, Wickenburg Community Hospital
and the Wickenburg 100 Club. He and Anne faithfully attended St. Anthony
of Padua Catholic Church where he was a favorite voice in the choir for
many years.

Kevin was predeceased by his parents; and brothers Johnny and Mike. He
is survived by his loving wife Anne, of Wickenburg; daughters, Christine
Cloe and Jennifer Vidales; grandchildren Lindsay, Kyler and Hunter;
brother Gary Cloe and sister Cathy Cloe.

Celebration of life services will be planned at a later date.
