Pearl Gernelle Asbury Born in Milton, West Virginia on Feb. 5, 1915. Departed on April 14, 2002 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Pearl Gernelle Asbury, 85, of Cottonwood died April 14. She was born February 5, 1915 in Milton, West Virginia. Mrs. Asbury was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ceredo, Ceredo, West Virginia. She had worked 30 years as a registered nurse at the VA Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia. Mrs. Asbury was a graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing in Huntington, West Virginia. She leaves a son, Michael W. Shiloh of Prescott, formerly of Sedona; sisters, Ruby Bledsoe and Lucille Ross, both of Milton, W.V. and Alcie DeJarnett of Salt Rock, W.V.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is predeceased by a daughter, Jacqueline Anne Howell. Funeral services will be held in Huntington, West Virginia under the direction of the Klinger-Carpenter Funeral Home, 328 6th Ave, Huntington, West Virginia. Local arrangements were handled by the Westcott Funeral Home. Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood and Camp Verde, Arizona. |
