Published by Today's News Herald on Feb. 7, 2024 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Judith Lyn Nuss was called home and gained her angel wings on Jan 1, 2024. She was a Havasu pioneer; she moved here with her husband in 1972 from Riverside, California. They both worked at a paper cup factory called Lilly Tulip and that's where their love story began. They married Oct 20, 1966 and were happily united for 45 years until his passing. Judy was active in the community, she was a member of the Havasu boat and ski club and the Havasu Off Road Association. She was an upholster by trade and owned Cover All Upholstery. She lived her whole life in Havasu in the same little house on the corner. She is preceded in death by her husband Bob brother Gary, sister Barbara and her parents Charles and Dorothy. She is survived by her daughters Cindy Pratt (Dave) of Chandler, Kristy Schneider (Tag) of Kingman, Robin Carls of Milaca Minnesota, and Marti Cook Thomson of Lake Havasu City, eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of her beautiful life will be held Saturday, Feb. 24 at 1 p.m. at Campbell's Ranch located at 4066 Chemehuevi Blvd. |
