Born in Zarzai, Lithuania on May 26, 1922.
Departed on Jan. 13, 2003 and resided in Sedona, Arizona.

Henry Valiukas, age 80, of Sedona, formerly of St. Paul, Minnesota died January 13.

Survived by his loving family, his wife, Jutta; three children and their spouses, Gudrun and Walt Gayman, Henri and Lynn Valiukas and Ralph and Toni Valiukas; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a brother and his wife, Joseph and Mary Valiukas.

He was a loving husband and father, and a passionate sculptor and enviromentalist, who was known for his sense of humor, captivating personality ad his appreciation of America's freedom and opportunity.

His love of sculpture touched everyone through his restorative work on the Minnesota state capitol building, James J. Hill residence, St. Paul Cathedral and innumerable other works.
