Born in Columbus, Ohio on June 4, 1925.
Departed on June 6, 2003 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona.

Flo P. Applegate, 78, of Cottonwood, Arizona died on Friday, June 6th. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on June 4, 1925.

Before she retired Mrs. Applegate worked as a production supervisor. She began her career working for Western Electric, then for AT&T and finally for Lucent Technologies.

She was preceded in death two husbands Dale Pyle and Sam Applegate.

Mrs. Applegate was a longtime member of the Eastern Star, Diamond Chapter #7. She was an officer and served as marshall. She also worked on their Christmas Program which benefited needy children.

She is survived by her brother, Hobert,wife Linda Pierce, Pahrump, Nev.; sisters-in-law: Imogine and Maxine Pierce both of Phoenix, Ariz.; several nieces and nephews and devoted friend and companion Bill Simpson of Cottonwood.

A visitation will take place on Thursday, June 12th from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Westcott Funeral Home 1013 E. Mingus Avenue.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 13th at the Mountain View United Methodist Church 901 S. 12th Street Cottonwood, Arizona at 4:00 p.m.

Burial will be in Indiana.

Westcott Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
