Born in Edinburg, Illinois on Jan. 20, 1953.

John David Patton, 50, of Cornville died May 1, 2003. He was born January 20, 1953 in Edinburg, Illinois.

He was an electrician in the Verde Valley for 20 years and was owner of L & H Electric for 12 years.

He enjoyed woodworking and helped his wife in the rescue of dogs.

He leaves his wife, Malia Patton; daughters, Jennifer Sandoval and Melinda Patton; sons, Will Patton, Casey Patton, Cory Phillips and Brent Phillips; a sister, Patricia Patton; two brothers, Dick Patton and Philip Patton; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 15 in the Westcott Funeral Home at 1 p.m.
