| Published by Today's News Herald on Jun. 9, 2024 - Lake Havasu city, Arizona - Linda Lou Stites, 75, of La Pine, OR, passed away on May 10, 2024. She was born on November 17, 1948 in Millville NJ where she went to school and graduated from Millville Senior High. She married her husband, William Stites, also of Millville on April 26th 1969, and they were together until his death in 2023. In 1986, Linda, Bill and their daughter moved to Lake Havasu City AZ, where she remained until moving to OR to be with family in Dec of 2023. Linda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, with family being the most important part of her life. She is survived by her daughter Nora Vaca, son-in-law Isaac Vaca, grandsons Toby and Sonny, brother Roger Simpkins and his wife Dora, brother Wayne Simpkins and his wife Shirley, along with many nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her husband William Stites, and her parents Elsie and Leroy Simpkins. Linda later worked and retired from K-mart in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Her hobbies included spending time with her family and grandchildren. No services will be held. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a charity of your choice in Linda's memory. |
