James "Jim" Leslie Faulkner, Sr. passed away on May 15, 2024 in Lake
Havasu City, Arizona after a long bout of dementia. He was 82.

Jim was born and raised in Denver, Colorado on May 2, 1942. He joined
the army at 17, serving in Korea. He married Judith Buckley on December
2,1962, divorcing in 1964. On September 2, 1964, Jim married his loving
wife of almost 44 years, Linda Ferril Case, and the couple celebrated
two sons, James Leslie Faulkner, Jr. and John Lowell Faulkner.

In 1975, the family relocated from Denver to Montrose, Colorado where
Linda was a nurse and Jim taught school in Olathe. They ran several
lucrative businesses in Montrose, including a Radio Shack franchise,
rent-to-own store and pawn shop. After 25 years in Montrose, Jim and
Linda retired to Lake Havasu City, Arizona full time where he was a
member of the Elks Club and Havasu 4-Wheelers.

Jim especially loved boating, camping and fishing with his two
grandchildren, Tim and Carolyne. Tim's best memory was "going to
Grandpa's house every Sunday to watch NASCAR or football games."
Carolyne says, "My favorite animal is the gray whale because of Grandpa.
I remember him taking me to Disneyland, going to the ice cream store
near London Bridge, camping and jet skiing."

Jim's life was suddenly uprooted when Linda passed away in 2008. He met
Bonnie Bullard in 2011 in grief counseling. The couple married on
November 22, 2019, enjoying 4 years of marriage with their precious
dogs, Tucker and Muffin.

Jim is survived by his immediate family: 3rd spouse- Bonnie Bullard-
Faulkner, of Lake Havasu, AZ; sons- James (Meri) Faulkner, Jr., of Ajo,
AZ and John Faulkner, of Boulder, CO; grandchildren- Timothy Faulkner,
of Dallas, TX and Carolyne Faulkner, of Lake Havasu, AZ; and sister-
Janeen (Rick) Hyman, of Hale Center, TX.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Linda Ferril Faulkner, of Lake
Havasu, AZ; mother: Jeanne Gonzales, of Denver, CO; sister: Jeanne Anne
Barthel, of Denver, CO; and several half-siblings. Jim was cremated, his
ashes interred at the Prescott National Cemetery in Prescott, AZ.
