Ruben Ybarra, Sr.

Lake Havasu City, Arizona -

Ruben Ybarra Sr., 86, of Lake Havasu City, passed away on May 22, 2024.
He was born on Dec. 16, 1937, in Los Angeles where he resided until the
1960s.

Ruben proudly served as a member of the 82nd Airborne Division in the
United States Army from 1955 to 1958. In the late 1960s, Ruben relocated
to Lake Havasu City and resided there throughout the rest of his life.

He played a key role in the reconstruction of the London Bridge. He
later worked in HVAC with McDonnell-Douglas before retiring from Boeing.

Ruben was a loving father to Vivian Paxton and Ruben Ybarra Jr. He was
an amazing grandfather to 9 grandkids and 18 great grandchildren. He
will be remembered as a strong willed and loving father, grandfather,
and great-grandfather. He made it through his last few years of life
graciously with the help and love of his daughter, Vivian.

A service to honor Ruben's life will be held on June 14, 2024, at 8:00
AM at Covenant Church, 113 Acoma Blvd N, Lake Havasu, AZ, 86403.

Following the church service, we will be honoring Ruben with a full
military honors burial at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona at
1:30 PM, 23029 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ, 85024.

To complete the celebration of Ruben's life, we will be having dinner at
the VFW Post 1433, 7618 N 63rd Ave., Glendale, AZ 85301.
