| Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Wednesday, May 22, 2024, p. A-5 Gregory A. Petersen (Greg) 62 passed away Tuesday April 9, 2024 in Surprise, Ariz. Greg was born May 13, 1961, in New Castle, Ind., to Howard and Louise. He was a 1979 graduate of Union High School in Modoc, Ind. He moved to Arizona in 1983 where he worked for the Wickenburg Sun Newspaper and lastly Foxworth-Galbreath Lumber Co. Greg is survived by his wife of 24 years, Joanne; a special daughter and son-in-law, Becca and Tyler Anderson; a granddaughter, Anna; his mother and step-father, Louise and Clint McCormick in Morristown; two sisters, Susan and Beaty (Gilbert), Pall Mall, Ind. and Debbie Smith in Cookeville, Tenn.; plus aunts, uncles and cousins. Greg loved his family, lighthouses and his rescue dogs, Jake and Kona. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. |
