Published by Today's News Herald on Aug. 25, 2024 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of James Edward Ingram, affectionately known as Jim, on Aug. 13, 2024. Born on Dec. 29, 1948, in Inglewood, California, USA, James was an adventurous soul who lived life to the fullest. A computer analyst by profession, he worked in the aircraft industry before his retirement. A member of the Over the Hill Car Gang and the Golf Club, Jim was known for his love for long walks and travel. His adventurous spirit was evident in his love for exploring new places and cultures, inspiring many with his enthusiasm for life. Jim led an enriched life, marked by his educational journey through Fullerton Junior College and Pepperdine University. He moved to Lake Havasu City in 2010 and immersed himself in the local community. His adventurous spirit, love for life, and dedication to his profession will be remembered by all. Jim is survived by his brother David Ingram and his sister, Judy McLaran. He is preceded in death by his father, Louis Ingram, and his mother, Ruth Taylor. As Helen Keller once said, "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all," and James lived by this mantra. His adventurous spirit will continue to inspire all who knew him. |
