Lake Havasu City, Arizona -

William Frances Waldron, affectionately known as Bill, was a beacon of
strength and creativity, illuminating the lives of all who had the good
fortune to know him.

Born on December 20, 1942, in Abilene, TX, William embarked on a journey
that was as resilient as it was remarkable. His ambitious spirit led him
to a dedicated career as a lineman, where he tirelessly served Connexus
Energy in Anoka, MN, for a commendable 28 years. However, his creativity
didn't stop at his job; he was also a self-taught taxidermist and
woodworker, his creations a testament to his skill and ingenuity.

In Lake Havasu City, where he resided for 11 years, he wasn't just a
resident but a valued member of the community. Here, he built a life of
love and companionship with his adored wife, Dar, after a whirlwind
courtship that began with a blind date and culminated in a beautiful
wedding ceremony in Sisseton, South Dakota, after just two months and
lasted for 63 years.

William's life was a reflection of the words of Helen Keller: "Character
cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial
and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and
success achieved." His resilience and dedicated spirit are carried
forward by beloved wife, Dar; his sons, William and Brad; his siblings,
Chad, Eli, and Elaine; and his granddaughters, Emma, Abigail, Kallie,
and Faye. He joins in eternity his parents, Brono Waldron and Rose
Olson, and his brother Larry Purdy.

We invite you to share your memories of William and upload photos to his
memorial page. Each story and picture shared offers a chance to remember
and celebrate the remarkable life of this dedicated, creative,
resilient, and ambitious man.
