Elisabeth "Lis" J. Ciceran was born March 2, 1949 and passed on August
28, 2024 after a brief but challenging illness.

She will be deeply missed by her husband of 53 years, Louis "Lou"
Ciceran, her children Heather Ciceran and Andrew "Drew" Ciceran, and her
brother John Peper.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret "Marge" Peper, her
father John Peper and her sister, Margaret Maier (Peper). Lis was a
remarkably kind and caring individual whose presence touched many lives.

She moved to Arizona with her husband in 1978 to raise their children
and was dedicated to her family. Lis was actively involved in the
community, working with the PTA, Girl Scouts, and organizing school
events, all while running a successful business, Emporium Waterbeds. As
a devoted Registered Nurse, she later found great fulfillment in her
role as a Home Health Nurse, where her compassion continued to shine.

After retiring, she enjoyed her time in the Lioness Club. Lis was a
unique and sweet person with talents in crafting, particularly beaded
jewelry, and a love for mysteries and old movies.

She cherished her time with animals, especially dogs and horses, and had
a fascination with dragons and folklore. Her stories about her family
and childhood in New York brought joy to many. She and her husband
shared countless adventures and memories together. Her humor,
playfulness, and vibrant spirit made a lasting impact on everyone she
met. She truly cared for and put others before herself, sharing her
genuine heart, always. The world is a different place without her.
Knowing her was a gift and she will be profoundly missed by all.
