Departed on Oct. 25, 2002 and resided in Cottonwood, AZ.

Marvin LeRoy Stutesman, 71, of Cottonwood died October 25. He was born May 8, 1931 in Clinton Township, Michigan.

He was a Navy veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars.

Marvin was an active member of the Verde Valley owning several drug stores throughout his nineteen years here. Otherwise known as Marvelous Marv to the medical community; and 'Mr. Vista' to young people.

Marvin became a memeber of the community in 1983, when he became associated with Cottonwood Drug. In 1987 he moved to Cottonwood Vista Drug,and in 1995 he sold Cottonood Vista Drug.

He worked for Sav Moor Drug,then he later opened Candy Lane Drug, which they sold in January, 2002. He and his wife were also part owners of the former Johnson Drug of Sedona. Marvin will be fondly remembered for his outstanding service and compassion towards his patients, family and friends.

He leaves his wife, Dorothy Stutesman; daughters, Virginia; five sons, Michael L. Stutesman, Mark L. Stutesman, both of Phoenix, Steve Caruthers of W.V., Clifton Bogie, Jr. of Calif. and Rand Frazier of Iowa; a brother, Willard Jack Stutesman of Gaylord, Mich.; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 1 in the Westcott Funeral Home at 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northern Arizona Hospice, 269 S. Candy Lane, Cottonwood, Ariz., 86326.
