Jack A. Smith Born in Belden, Nebraska on Nov. 8, 1941. Departed on July 1, 2005 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Jack Arnold Smith, 63, of Cottonwood died July 1, 2005. He was born November 8, 1941 in Belden, Nebraska. He was a graduate of Hawthorne High School in Hawthorne, California. Mr. Smith was retired from Hughes Aircraft Company now part of Raytheon. He had previously worked as a bank supervisor. He was a member of P.E.R. in Gardenia, Elks and the Verde Valley Presbyterian Church. His hobbies included bowling, baseball, and minature building. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife of 36 years, Carmen Smith; two sons, Daniel and Alec, both of Cottonwood; daughters, Evelyn Padian and Lisa Gibson of Lakewood, Calif. and Kimberly Perez of Gardenia, Calif. and sixteen grandchildren. A memorial service was held on July 5 in the Verde Valley Presbyterian Church. Westcott Funeral Home assisted the family with these arrangements Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood and Camp Verde, Arizona. |
