| Published by Today's News Herald from Oct. 13 to Oct. 14, 2024 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert "Rags" Ragland, a remarkable man known for his resilience, generosity, and heartwarming smile. Robert, who was known to many as "Rags", was born on May 16, 1942, and passed away on Sept. 29, 2024, leaving a void in the hearts of everyone who knew him. Robert is survived by his loving family. He leaves behind his devoted daughter, Cindy Hooper, and son-in-law, Jeff Hooper. His memory will live on in his cherished granddaughters, Brooke, Allison, and Courtney Hooper, each of whom held a special place in his heart. He also leaves his brother, Jerry Ragland, standing as a sentinel of their shared childhood memories. Robert was predeceased by his beloved wife, Guadalupe "Lupe" Ragland. Their love story was one of undying commitment and devotion. His deep sadness at her passing reflected the depth of his love for her. Robert's passing profoundly affects all those whose lives he touched. His enduring spirit will forever remain in the hearts of his beloved family. We mourn the loss of this great man and celebrate the legacy he leaves behind. |
