| Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Friday, November 7, 1958, p. 8 Mrs. Effie Oliver Funeral In Texas Funeral services were held in Mexia, Texas, Tuesday for Mrs. Effie Oliver who died last Saturday in a hospital in Kerrville, Texas. Mrs. Oliver had once lived in Wickenburg for many years and was the mother of Mrs. E. L. McGuffin and Mrs. J. S. Hovis of this community. Mrs. Oliver, a native of Texas, was 75 years old. She had been in ill health for several months. When she resided here, she was a member of the First Baptist Church. In addition to the two Wickenburg daughters, survivors include two other daughters, Mrs. Ruth Vessel of Bandera, Texas, and Mrs. Dorothy Cook of Barstow, Calif.; and three sons, Chester Oliver and Jodie Oliver of Seminole, Texas, and Roy Oliver of Hawkins, Texas. |
