Carol Rau, born Carol Ann on September 23, 1944, in Albany, NY, was a
beacon of love, compassion, and inspiration who filled the world with
her radiant energy. Her unwavering loyalty to her loved ones and her
ceaseless drive to help others made Carol a cherished figure in her
community of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where she lived for 31 years. As
a profoundly respected banker, she positioned herself as a cornerstone
of her community, helping many navigate their financial journeys with
grace and understanding. In retirement, her spirit continued to shine
bright as she became an active member of the Elks Lodge, Lake Havasu
Singles, and the Yacht Club.

Carol's life was characterized by an adventurous spirit and a desire to
fully embrace the beauty of the world around her. As she journeyed from
National City, Paradise Hills, Chula Vista, and Jamul, to finally Lake
Havasu City, she brought along with her a spirit of enthusiasm and joy
that was contagious to everyone she met. Her life reminds us of a quote
by Helen Keller that says, "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing
at all."

Carol was the beloved mother of Jenny Gagliardi and the adored sister of
Mike Tricarico and Angie Roj. Carol's spirit continues to live on
through them. She was predeceased by her loving parents, John Tricarico
and Natalie DeScisciolo, her devoted spouse, Douglas Rau, and her
cherished daughter, Sherry Miller.

A Mass will take place on December 14, 2024 at Our Lady of the Lake
Roman Catholic Church at 10 A.M.

In celebrating Carol's life, we invite you to share your memories and
upload photos to her memorial page. Each story, each picture, and each
shared moment brings us closer to keeping her inspiring spirit alive.
Let us remember Carol Rau as the loving, inspiring, loyal, and
compassionate woman she was, and continue to celebrate the beautiful
life she led.
