Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Esther Marie Russell, a humble and loving matriarch, on March 1, 2025. Born in Davenport, IA, USA on December 26, 1927, Esther lived a full and joyous life, deeply rooted in family and service to others. For 35 years, she made her home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where she created countless memories and left an indelible mark on the hearts of those she encountered. Esther's life was a testament to the sentiment, "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." As a devoted member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, she found immense joy in volunteering at the soup kitchen for 15 years & the Catholic Daughters of America. She also donated her time cooking at the Knights of Columbus. Her professional life was spent as a Brazing Technician with Techni-Braze, INC, a role she fulfilled with dedication until her retirement. In her spare time, Esther was an accomplished cook who loved nothing more than to gather her family and friends around a table full of her delicious creations. Esther was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be forever remembered and missed by her children Brian Russell, Sharon Waters, Colin Russell, and Todd Russell. Her memory will also live on in the hearts of her eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
