Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Jerry Sarver, born on December 30th, 1957, who left us too soon on February 24th, 2025. Jerry was a California child, embracing the spirit of the Golden State throughout his youth and teen years. In 1979, he found his home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where he built a life marked by the roar of engines and the joy of speed. Jerry was a man of the road, spending his career as a truck driver for a gas company. His love for his work was only surpassed by his passion for the thrill of speedway, drag racing, motorcross, and fast boats. Jerry was a man who lived life in the fast lane, his heart beating in time with the purr of powerful engines even in his retirement. He kept his circle of friends small but cherished, valuing the depth of his relationships over their number. Jerry is survived by his dear sister Sherry Batson, nephew Jeremy Batson, beloved cousins and dear friend Elaine Brown. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Howard Sarver, his mother, Mildred Sarver, his son, Michael Sarver, and his brother, Jimmy Sarver. Each of them left an indelible mark on Jerry's life, shaping the man he grew to be. We invite those who knew and loved Jerry to share their memories and upload photos to the memorial page. Your stories will help paint a fuller picture of Jerry's vibrant life, enabling us to remember him at his happiest and most alive. Let us celebrate Jerry's memory by sharing the moments that made him special. Let his spirit continue to roar on, echoing in the hearts of those he left behind. |
