Born on Nov. 12, 1981, Sage grew up on her family’s cherished ranch in Wickenburg. It was there that her lifelong love for horses and the open range began. Her favorite place in the world was always on horseback, where she felt the freest and most alive. A proud graduate of Wickenburg High School’s Class of 2000, Sage embodied the vibrant spirit of her hometown. She was crowned Miss Gold Nugget Rodeo Queen, cementing her reputation as someone who brought passion and grace to everything she did. Later, Sage poured her creativity and energy into her work at Remuda Ranch, where she thrived in marketing and cherished every moment of her role until she transitioned back home to work for her family ranch. Sage was a creative force, excelling in marketing, designing logos, curating clothing, and exploring digital media. She had a remarkable talent for breathing life into ideas and an unmatched ability to stay ahead of the curve in her field. But beyond her creative gifts, Sage had an even greater gift—her heart. She was always willing to help others, offering advice, kind words, and authentic connections. Strangers often walked away from her feeling like they'd gained a lifelong friend. She lived life to the fullest, with a zeal for adventure and spontaneity that was contagious. Whether she was roping and riding on the ranch, dancing into the night, or savoring seafood during her world travels, Sage made every moment extraordinary. She embraced life with open arms and a wide smile, bringing light to everyone fortunate enough to cross her path. But above all, Sage adored her family. She leaves behind her loving parents, Larry William Simpson and Sharon Simpson; her older brother, Stocker Simpson; her niece, Bristol Sage Simpson; nephew to come, Emmitt Stocker Simpson and the two lights of her life—her sons, Justin Hill Simpson and Landon Stocker Simpson. Her unwavering love and devotion to her family will forever remain her legacy. Sage will be remembered as a beautiful young woman who never met a stranger. She lit up the lives of those around her, and her joy was infectious. Sage was the life of every party, a beacon of kindness, and a steadfast friend whose impact will never fade. To honor Sage’s incredible life, her family invites all who knew and loved her to a celebration on Saturday, March 15 at 2 p.m. at The Simpsons Ranch Arena in Wickenburg. Join us in remembering an extraordinary woman whose vibrance and love for life will forever inspire us. See Also: Find A Grave |
