| Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Wednesday, March 26, 2025, p. A-6 Nancy L. Stanley October 19, 1940 - March 19, 2025 Nany L. Stanley, age 84, passed away March 19, 2025 in Wickenburg. She was the daughter of Louise and Claude Nelson Jr. and sister to David, Henry, John and Donald. Nancy was a proud second generation native of Arizona. She graduated from Washington High School in Phoenix and Arizona State College (which became NAU). Nancy was a P.E. teacher and then a wonderful stay at home mom. Nancy was married to her true love, Lee, for 62 years. Their family grew to include Cindy (Andy) and Melissa; five grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. She resided in Glendale, Ariz., until moving to Wickenburg 25 years ago. Nancy enjoyed spending her time playing tennis, hiking, quilting, and volunteering at Camp Imagination. In celebration of Nancy, you are asked to pour yourself a glass of wine and go watch the sunset, something Nancy enjoyed. The family would like to thank Hospice of the Valley for their compassionate care. |
