| Fred Stern, 50, died March 19. He had been ill for the past few months. He lived at 2926 Lester, a resident the past 21 years, previously lived in New York andChicago. Surviving him are his wife,Bella, three sisters of whom one, Teresa R., lives in Tucson, and three brothers in the east. Service will be held at Reilly’s March 21 at noon with Rabbi Bilgray officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Stern had been active in Bnai Brith. It was his last wish that no flowers be sent. Instead contributions in his memory to a fund for an oxygen chamber will be appreciated. The chamber will be donated to a local hospital.
