Lake Havasu City, Arizona -

Arthur Means, born on June 15, 1929, in The Dalles, Oregon, was a man of
robust spirit, a beacon of kindness, and a pillar of his community. A
patriotic soul, Arthur dedicated his time and energy to the American
Legion Post 81, serving as the Post Commander three times. His love for
camaraderie, food, and his community earned him the affectionate title
of the "Taco King".

He was a trucking enthusiast by profession and a member of Teamster, but
his zest for life extended far beyond the road. He had a heart full of
wanderlust, frequently embarking on travels with his beloved wife,
Nadine. Arthur's life was a beautiful journey that took him from his
birthplace in The Dalles, Oregon, to Portland, Oregon, then to
Quartsite, Arizona, before he finally found his home in Lake Havasu
City, Arizona, where he resided for 26 years.

Arthur was a driving force behind the expansion of the American Legion
Post 81, always ready to lend a hand in the kitchen or wherever help was
needed. His Fridays at the Legion for Tacos & Beer were much loved by
the community. His infectious laughter, warm nature, and his delightful
tales of the road will be missed but forever treasured.

Arthur is survived by his daughter, Debra Means, and sister, Sharon
Layman. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Means, mother,
Pearl Wallace, and his treasured wife, Nadine.

The celebration of Arthur's life will take place on Friday, April 4,
2025, at 1:00 pm MDT at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory, 21 Riviera
