Published by Today's News Herald from Apr. 8 to Apr. 9, 2025 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona >> Susan Underwood << Born February 25th, 1945 to Vincel and Velma Lewis in Smithville, Missouri and passed away January 25th, 2025 peacefully in her sleep. Sue was raised on a farm in Missouri. She graduated from high school in 1963 and married her life long husband the same year, lasting 61 years. Sue moved to Lake Havasu City in 1980 with her family and never looked back. Her passion for boating, camping and bowling never wavered. She also loved her cruising. She was plant manager for Winkelman International computer chips until 1985 until they relocated to Phoenix. She would not leave Lake Havasu to stay with the company. She went to beauty college and became a beautician / hair stylist. She was known to be very professional at her trade. She was the owner of Sue's Beauty Nook. Sue was known to be a Bling / Partier! She loved a good party and was usually the last one to leave the party. Orange vodka and water, Cheers! Sue is survived by her husband, Donnie, son, Chad, Daughter in law, Melissa and his 3 grandsons, Logan, Dillon and Gavin Un-derwood. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Rose Accurso, brother, Ed Lewis and her oldest son, Scott. She also left, what she called, a gift from God…. Her daughter Schnauzer Dixie to comfort her through her last days. She would want all of her many, many friends to have a cocktail and toast to her awesome life. Services will be at a later date. |
