James Arden Waggoner, affectionately known to many as Jim, was born in
Berkley, Michigan on March 17, 1933. He passed away, aged 92, on March
19, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter and cherished
memories. James was a resident of Lake Havasu City for the past 33
years. He was a devoted husband of 44 years and a loving father. The
incredible journey of his life took him from the shores of Michigan to
the sunny landscapes of California, before finally settling down in the
warm embrace of Arizona.

In his professional life, James was a highly respected automotive
mechanic with over 30 years of experience. He went on to work for Rayne
Water, bringing the same dedication and expertise to his new role.
Beyond his career, James was a man of many passions. He was known for
his sense of humor, often having his family and friends in fits of
laughter with his jokes. He was also a skilled woodworker, spending
countless hours in his garage creating beautiful pieces. James found
peace and tranquility in nature, often sitting outside to watch the
hummingbirds and rabbits. His love for his family was the cornerstone of
his life, and there was nothing he enjoyed more than spending time with
his loved ones.

James is survived by his daughter, Jolynn Waggoner, and his sons, James
and Jeffery Waggoner. He was the beloved grandfather of Curtis Waggoner
(Kristina), Mitchell Anderson (Jamie), and Jeffery Waggoner, and the
proud great-grandfather of Aiden, Gracelynn, Graham, Hailee, and
Jameson. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy (Gamble),
his parents, Glenn Waggoner and Olive Kroh, his son Jerry Waggoner, his
brother Glenn, and his sisters Viola and Joan.

Jim's infectious laughter and love for life will be greatly missed by
all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His memory will forever be a
beacon of joy and strength for his family and friends. We invite you to
share your memories and photos of James on his memorial page lietz-
frazefuneralhome.com, as we celebrate a life lovingly lived.

Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home, Lake Havasu
City, AZ
