David Leslie Allor, a cherished resident of Lake Havasu City, Arizona,
passed away on December 24, 2024, at the age of 77. Born on July 21,
1947, in Detroit, Michigan, to Gladys and Leon Allor, David lived a life
marked by service, dedication, and love for his family and community.

David proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy
from 1965 to 1968, including a tour in Vietnam. His deep pride in being
a veteran and his unwavering patriotism were hallmarks of his character.
Following his military service, David dedicated two decades to the Los
Angeles County Fire Department, where he worked with courage and
commitment to protect others.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, David was deeply
involved in his community. He volunteered for many years with St.
Vincent de Paul and the local food bank, offering his time and energy to
support those in need. Known for spreading joy through simple yet
heartfelt gestures, David delighted friends and neighbors by baking
cookies and preparing homemade jam.

David had a passion for creating, building, and adventure. Whether
welding or crafting projects, boating or fishing, boogie boarding in the
ocean, or perfecting recipes in the kitchen, he found joy in hands-on
pursuits that reflected his creativity and generosity.

David was a beloved husband to Sharon Allor for 32 years and a devoted
father to Shane, Christina, Shannon, and Joey. He was also a proud
grandfather to Shane II, Corey, Wyatt, Shelbi, and Vin-cent. His love
for his family was evident in all that he did and will remain an
enduring legacy.

A celebration of David's life with full military honors will be planned
and announced at a later date.

May the memory of David's kindness and dedication bring comfort to all
who knew him.
