Born on May 11, 1934, in Claremont, California, Francisca was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. In 1958, she married Willie Candelaria, with whom she shared 35 years of love and companionship until his passing. Together, they built a life full of cherished memories. Francisca is survived by her sister, Ysidra Gonzalez, her daughters, Lillian Keys (Mike) and Carol Candelaria, and many treasured grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Lazera Zuniga, her beloved sisters, Maximina Arce, Natalia Ornales, Rosa Barela, and Alejandra Candelaria. In 2013, Francisca relocated to Lake Havasu City, where she embraced her new community and continued to enjoy life. Throughout her life, Francisca worked as a bilingual instructional aide, a role that allowed her to positively impact the lives of many students. She took great pride in her work, always dedicated herself to helping others. Her love for teaching, especially in her bilingual capacity, reflected her passion for connecting with people and her strong sense of community. Francisca also deeply enjoyed spending time with her sister Ysidra, and the bond they shared was one of love, laughter, and companionship. These moments together were among the many that enriched her life. Francisca's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will never be forgotten. |
