| Published by Today's News Herald from Mar. 26 to Mar. 27, 2025 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Carl Thornhill passed away in his home in Lake Havasu City on February, 12th 2025. Carl was born on October 2nd, 1934 in California where he met his beautiful wife Dorothy Thornhill who he was married to for 52 years. Carl and Dottie relocated to Springville Utah from California where they lived on a beautiful Ranch and traveled for years while Carl and his son raced as champion Cracker-box boat racers. Carl and Dottie worked together for years operating Thornhill Backhoe, Thornhill trucking and their own real-estate company. They moved to Maui years later where they retired and were able to meet great friends and live a great life. They relocated to Lake Havasu City where they could be closer to family. Carl is proceeded in death by his beautiful wife Dorothy Thornhill, Son Dale Thornhill, mother in law Leola Thorn-hill, Mother Ethel Thornhill, father Charles Thornhill. Carl is survived by his granddaughter Shannon Thornhill, grandson Michael Thornhill and wife Angela Thornhill. His great-grandchildren Marcos Higareda, Jacob Higareda, Destinee Blue, Samantha Thornhill, Zachary Thornhill and Lucas Thornhill. The family will be having a graveside memorial service at Evergreen Cemetery in Springville, Utah where he will be laid to rest with his Wife and Son.
