Roy Paul, 57, of Coolidge died March 29, 2004 in Casa Grande. Visitation was Thursday at Simes Mortuaries Casa Grande Chapel. The funeral there was Friday, with Pastor Scott Bailey officiating. Burial in Valley Memorial Park, near Coolidge. Mr. Paul was born Aug. 26, 1946 in Atlanta to Zachary and Eunice Paul. He served with the Pinal County Sheriff's Office as a deputy for 27 years before retirement. He served in the National Guard and was a Mason. He was devoted to his family. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Casa Grande. He lived in the area for 32 years. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Linda; a daughter, Angelia Christians of San Diego; and one grandchild. Memorial contributions may be made to: RTA Hospice Foundation, 1675 E.
