Published by Today's News Herald on Apr. 30, 2025 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - In Loving Memory of Susan Crenshaw. December 1, 1954- June 4, 2020. Remembering the passing of Susan Crenshaw, who left us on June 4, 2020, after a brave and enduring battle with cancer. Born in the San Francisco Bay Area and raised in Stockton, California, Susan was the beloved daughter of James and Louise Abba, both of whom preceded her in death. Susan was a person of boundless compassion and warmth, always seeking to make the world a better place. She was known for her love of animals and her desire to help those in need. A graduate of Franklin High School and San Joaquin Delta College, Susan laid a strong foundation for a life of continued learning and personal growth. A lifelong animal lover, Susan found peace in the companionship of her pets, particularly her rescued dog, Abbey, who was by her side in her final years. Her compassion extended beyond her own animals, as she dedicated much of her time to volunteering with abandoned and needy dogs, ensuring they received the love and care they deserved. Susan's career in education was followed by a rewarding second chapter in healthcare. After retiring from the Stockton Unified School District, she pursued her passion for nursing and earned a medical degree. After retiring, Susan relocated and lived in Lake Havasu City. Susan is survived by her sons, Montena, Christopher and Anthony; her goddaughter, Jennifer; her grandchildren, Anthony and Isabella; her sister, her mother-in-law Verlene; and many other dear family members and friends. Susan is deeply missed but will never be forgotten. Susan's final earthly resting place is Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi, California. |
